it's over

i'm going to miss it all. not just the sport itself, not just the finals, but the entire journey to get to our aim

the various trainings in the mph (though i still prefer open pitch)
the trainings on odd days when we did get pitch
the U18 tournament which served as the pre-season
the team meetings before each game
the early games, where we ran riot over most teams
the tougher competition, where expectations were raised
the semi finals, our first game with proper supporters
the finals, where in the second half we took them to hell and back

and most of all, i'll miss the sport itself, especially since life looks very dreary for the next half a year

title race over

finally the race has ended. there's less euphoria compared to the relief that it's over. it's dragged on wayy too long and united should have ended the race weeks ago. what to do

i think i'm a lot better off than i think i am
maybe it's better that i don't have such responsibilities
not many can claim the experiences i have
few can know what i feel when i sit with her
that blend of comfort and awkwardness
that can only exist with no bond deeper than that of pure friendship
much as i want such a bond to happen
maybe it's better that it doesn't happen
i see what can happen should something go wrong
and without this bond, then there is little danger
so maybe i'm better off
